We are looking for a Deputy Store Manager for one of our stores!
About the role
As a Deputy Store Manager, you are a key person in the store. You work closely with the Store Manager and take responsibility for operations in their absence. The role is a combination of leadership and operational work in the store.
The position is 36 hours per week and is a permanent employment with a monthly salary.
Your responsibilities:
- Be the Store Manager's closest support in daily operations and take active responsibility for planning, prioritization, and follow-up of the store's activities.
- Contribute to developing sales, profitability, and customer experience by leading, coaching, and supporting employees in their daily work.
- Be responsible for and follow up on routines regarding staffing, scheduling, merchandise flow, campaign execution, inventory, and other administrative tasks according to company guidelines.
- Ensure a well-maintained, inspiring, and sales-driven store by driving work related to display, restocking, orderliness, quality, and customer service.
- Participate in operational work in the store, including cash handling, receiving goods, unpacking, and customer interactions, while taking increased responsibility for the overall business.
- Act as the Store Manager in their absence when needed and contribute to ensuring the store's goals, routines, and working methods are followed.
The work involves both day and evening shifts as well as weekend work, which requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the store's needs and customer flow.
About you
We are looking for you who have experience in sales and retail work. You have an interest in our product areas and are passionate about providing good customer service. Experience with cash handling and sales is meritorious but not a requirement.
You are goal-oriented, curious, and engaged – with a positive attitude and good teamwork skills. You thrive working in a team, are flexible, and like taking responsibility. You must be at least 16 years old due to tobacco sales regulations.
At Hemmakväll, we value personal qualities such as a high sense of service, drive, and a genuine interest in our customers. We believe in diversity and strive for a workplace where different experiences and perspectives enrich our work.
Selection is made on an ongoing basis.
