Application: Development Role at the Emergency Department – Collaboration between Gävle Municipality and Region Gävleborg
Do you want to help make Gävle even better with us? At Gävle Municipality, we work together with dedication to offer our residents a safe and inspiring environment. We offer you a workplace built on trust, where you can develop professionally and grow as a person. We welcome your application!
About the Unit and Target Group
Our units consist of social secretaries (biståndshandläggare), senior social secretaries, resident coordinators, and administrators. The target group consists of individuals over 18 years of age who apply for support and assistance not covered by the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) or who do not belong to the target group for processing within social psychiatry. Our target group is constantly growing, which requires our operations to dare to try new working methods to best meet the challenges of welfare. Here, we try new approaches and evaluate them continuously. You are expected to act based on our value base in all contacts and work proactively.
A colleague at the workplace expresses that it is an advantage if you like autumn, while another colleague says it is an advantage if you do not like autumn. On our units, Investigation Unit Care 1 and 2, we all have different perspectives on things, but we have collectively decided that our work environment should be permeated by acceptance, security, and positivity where everyone is equally important.
Job Responsibilities

You collaborate with healthcare personnel, patients, and relatives, and contribute to making Gävle Municipality’s interventions visible as an alternative to inpatient care.
The assignment also contains a clear development perspective where you participate in developing and testing new working methods. The role is partly shaped within the framework of the assignment.
