Pingeltorp Preschool

Pingeltorp Preschool is located in Sätra and has three departments. We have a large, lovely yard and are close to the forest. The environment at the preschool is stimulating and sparks children's curiosity and creativity. We have our own cook who prepares our meals and is present in the daily activities. We believe it is important for children to have influence and to find a balance between learning, care, and play, seeing these elements intertwined throughout the day.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged support staff member for the children's group who wants to contribute to a safe, playful, and educational daily life for the children. You are present, flexible, and passionate about building good relationships.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working together with the work team to be responsible for a child requiring special support.
• Constantly working to create a safe, secure, and educational environment that attracts and challenges children to play, engage in activities, and learn.
• Promoting a good health-promoting and accessible environment for care, play, physical activity, development, and learning.

Qualifications

You are a structured and confident preschool teacher/childcare worker with the child in focus.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has completed upper secondary education
• Is educated as a preschool teacher/childcare worker
• Is familiar with the preschool curriculum and other governing documents
• Has good linguistic and communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience working with children with special needs, as well as knowledge of TAKK (Total Communication) and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), is considered a merit.
