Occupational Therapist Wanted at Forsåker Rehab in Mölndal
Forsåker Rehab ABVästra Götalands län, Mölndal
Previous experience is desired
Forsåker Rehab is looking for an Occupational Therapist
Forsåker Primary Care Centre and Child Health Centre is a growing clinic in Mölndal, focusing on teamwork, quality, accessibility, and patient interaction. Here, it is the group that succeeds, not the individual. We aim to be the local clinic with a big heart.
In April 2024, we launched Forsåker Rehab in the same premises as the primary care centre, and we are now continuing to develop our operations. Through close collaboration between the primary care centre and rehabilitation, we want to create a holistic perspective on the patient and offer good, accessible care.
Here, doctors, psychologists, specialist nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, rehabilitation coordinators, administrators, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists work together. We work closely in teams and share responsibility for the care of our patients.
We believe in working thoughtfully, utilizing smart IT systems and digital care when necessary. We are HBTQ-certified and strongly believe in continuity, both for patients and staff.
The Role
We are now looking for an occupational therapist who wants to be part of a developing and exciting phase at Forsåker Rehab. We prefer that you want to work part-time, but other levels of employment can be discussed based on the needs of the business and the right person's preferences.
As an occupational therapist with us, you will meet patients of different ages with varying needs. We are particularly looking for someone who has an interest in, and preferably experience of, working with mental ill-health, stress-related issues, activity balance, and rehabilitation in primary care. You will become an important part of our close collaboration between rehab and the primary care centre, where assessments and case handling often take place in teams and in consultation with doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and other professional categories.
The duties may include, among other things:
- Assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation individually and in groups
- Interventions for stress, mental ill-health, and activity-related issues
- Activity assessments and support regarding daily structure, recovery, and balance
- Prescription of assistive devices
- Hand rehabilitation
- Cognitive assessments
- Collaboration with other professions and external actors
- Home visits
With us, there are good opportunities to help shape the role of occupational therapy at the clinic, both in direct patient work and in the development of our methods. The role also involves contributing occupational therapy expertise to the team's joint assessments, particularly regarding activity, function, stress, recovery, and daily balance.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience from primary care is meritorious but not a requirement. Most importantly, you have a good attitude towards patients, a professional work style, and want to contribute to a well-functioning operation.
We would like you to have a particular interest in mental ill-health, stress-related complaints, activity balance, and rehabilitation. Experience or further education in areas such as stress rehabilitation, mental health, counseling methods, or similar is meritorious.
As a person, you are secure, flexible, and engaged. You thrive working both independently and in close collaboration with other professions. You appreciate teamwork and see the value in discussing patients with complex needs together. Since we are a growing operation, we value that you want to contribute to the development of the clinic and to a good working environment together with us.
What We Offer
- A good work climate with a strong sense of team
- A workplace where we work closely together and help each other
- Opportunities to influence and develop the work
- Close collaboration between rehab, primary care, and child health services
- Generous staff benefits, such as staff training and shared breakfasts
- Large and bright premises with a well-equipped gym directly adjacent to the primary care centre
- Modern IT systems and a digital care platform
- An HBTQ-certified workplace that values continuity for both patients and staff
Application
Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We apply a probationary period.
We look forward to receiving your application!
