We are looking for an experienced accountant for a project with a client with a broad business and varying financial flows. The role is suitable for you who are confident in advanced accounting, closing, and annual reporting, and who thrive on creating structure, clarity, and efficient working methods.

In the role, you will work broadly with ongoing accounting, monthly and annual closing, as well as quality assurance of financial processes. You will become a key resource in ensuring correct accounting, improving existing routines, and creating clearer documentation regarding closing and reporting processes.

The role includes responsibility for accounting and closing for several companies, including reconciliations, accruals, tax and VAT-related issues, and preparation of materials for annual reports and audits. The assignment also involves ensuring quality in the accounting processes, documenting routines and controls, and driving improvement initiatives to create efficient and well-functioning working methods.

Requirements

We are looking for you if you meet the following:

• Extensive experience in being responsible for accounting in a business and independently driving the work through the entire closing process.
• Habit of ensuring quality and traceability in accounting through careful reconciliations, documentation, and preparation of materials for review.
• Ability to establish efficient routines and create clarity in financial processes and workflows.
• Good understanding of Swedish accounting principles and experience in preparing financial reports in accordance with current accounting standards.
• Good experience working in business systems and advanced use of Excel as a working tool.
• Previous responsibility for the financial reporting of one or more companies, preferably in a group structure or similar environment.
• Meritorious: Experience from companies with multiple business areas, group-related accounting, fixed asset registers, intercompany accounts, internal control, commission or settlement flows, and work in more complex or regulated environments.
