Your Role

As a Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for planning, leading, and monitoring projects throughout their entire lifecycle. You work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, playing a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered according to set goals.

The role involves clear leadership responsibilities where you drive work forward, create structure, and ensure that the team has the right conditions for success. You need to have a good ability to engage and motivate your team. You are responsible for planning, resource allocation, budget, and progress, while ensuring good communication and collaboration among all involved parties. At the same time, you will drive the work of creating and improving efficient and innovative ways of working, processes, and routines that contribute to strengthening the organization's delivery capability.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Leading projects and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with the right quality
• Analyzing and breaking down customer requirements into clear project plans
• Coordinating work between technical teams, operations, and the customer
• Managing risks and opportunities and ensuring progress in the project
• Maintaining good communication and building long-term relationships, both internally and externally

You are also an important part of contributing to the business's continued growth, where you have the opportunity to influence both the structure and execution of future projects.

The primary location is Arboga, but there is an opportunity to be based in Solna with regular travel to Arboga.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who is a confident and structured leader with the ability to drive work forward and create engagement in your teams. You have a business and holistic perspective and thrive in a role where you get to handle complex projects and make decisions.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have experience in project management, program management, or similar
• Have a good understanding of technical projects, preferably within complex or regulated operations
• Are accustomed to handling planning, resources, and budget
• Have very good communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Have a relevant higher education or university degree

It is meritorious if you:

• Have experience from technical or defense-related operations
• Have worked in environments with high demands on quality, structure, and documentation

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at any time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
