Your role

Our Communication Solutions department is now looking for a Section Manager for our operations in Arboga. As a Section Manager, you have operational, financial, and personnel responsibility for a section with 15–20 employees. The section is in an expansion phase and will grow in the future.

You will lead a section consisting of designers and technical project management within mechanics, electrical engineering, and telecommunications. The main focus of the role is to develop and create design and system solutions within mechanics, electrical engineering, and telecom based on project requirements and technical prerequisites. The role is responsible for ensuring that the solutions are technically feasible, meet current specifications and quality requirements, and drive the development of working methods, processes, and methods within the section.

Our department, which today is part of the Surveillance business area, consists of approximately 120 employees located in Arboga, Solna, Gothenburg, and Linköping. The operations are specialized in integrating various system solutions for customers, both nationally and internationally. Today, the section consists solely of employees based in Arboga.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a university degree in engineering (Bachelor's or Master's), or equivalent experience from similar roles, as well as experience in managerial and leadership positions.

As a person, you are solution-oriented and want to be part of developing our operations, taking responsibility for the section's continued growth and project commitments. You need to have strong drive and commitment to the development of operations and personnel. As a leader, we see you as flexible with a high level of commitment towards the staff and projects.

A high level of communication and collaboration is fundamental to our operations as we work with customer-adapted systems and must work cross-functionally between sections to achieve our goals and deliveries.

Meritorious:

• Experience leading and steering development work
• Experience from business development
• Experience from the defense industry or other technical sectors such as automotive or manufacturing industry

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
