At Friday, we are recruiting on behalf of a client for an engaged and knowledgeable Technical Information Specialist to join a leading technology company. As a Technical Information Specialist, you will work in close collaboration with engineers, developers, and end-users to create high-quality technical documentation. You will be a vital link in the chain ensuring that all technical information is structured and accessible to the intended audience. You will work both independently and in teams to gather and process information, ultimately compiling it in a clear and structured manner. The information flow passes through several systems, making it important to create a holistic view of the process.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Searching for information in technical databases, reading drawings, and technical specifications
• Creating new and updating existing instructions in the maintenance manual
• Writing service bulletins in publication systems
• Serving as the link between developers and users

• Has a relevant post-secondary degree, such as Technical Information, Industrial Economics, Cognitive Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• Has a technical interest
• Has experience in technical documentation in a similar role
• Is skilled at searching for, interpreting, and understanding information
• Has fluent proficiency in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it a merit if you:

• Have knowledge in electronics
• Have experience working according to S1000D standards

This is a consultancy position where you will be employed by Friday. This position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks applicable at the time. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, it may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
