We are now looking for 1–2 research assistants for the Product Realization department.

About the job

The position is linked to the research projects conducted at the department. The duties may include basic administrative tasks and assistantship in the DART research project, where agent-based frameworks are used to find relevant information in engineering documents.

About you

We are looking for someone studying the Master's program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. You have several years of programming experience and have completed the course Product Modeling, TMKT57. Experience with SQL databases is particularly advantageous. As a person, you are responsible, detail-oriented, and service-minded, with a genuine interest in the subject area.

Your workplace

You will work at the Product Realization department, located at the Department of Science and Technology (IEI), which is part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The department has a major undergraduate teaching mission, including instruction for the Civil Engineering programs in Mechanical Engineering (300 ECTS) and Design and Product Development (300 ECTS), the Higher Education Engineering program in Mechanical Engineering (180 ECTS), as well as the Master's programs in Mechanical Engineering (120 ECTS), Design (120 ECTS), and Aeronautical Engineering (120 ECTS).

About the employment

The position is full-time and runs during the summer of 2026. Start date according to agreement.
