At Friday, we are recruiting on behalf of a client for an engaged and knowledgeable Technical Information Specialist to join a leading technical company. Here you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technological development and contribute to creating essential technical documentation for flying systems!

As a Technical Information Specialist, you will work in close collaboration with engineers and developers, as well as end-users, to create qualified technical documentation. You will be a crucial link in the chain ensuring that all technical information is structured and accessible to the intended audience. You will work both individually and in groups to collect and process information, ultimately compiling it in a clear and structured manner. The information flow passes through several systems, making it important to create a holistic view of the flow.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Searching for information in technical databases, reading drawings, and technical specifications
• Creating new and updating existing instructions in the maintenance manual
• Writing service bulletins in the publication system
• Acting as the link between developers and users

• Have a relevant post-secondary degree, such as Technical Information, Industrial Economics, Cognitive Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• Have a technical interest
• Have experience in technical documentation in a similar role
• Are skilled at searching for, interpreting, and understanding information
• Have fluent proficiency in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you:

• Have knowledge within electronics
• Have experience working according to S1000D

This is a consultancy position where you will be employed by Friday. This position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks applicable at the time. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
