Then you might want to work as a personal assistant for our member, a woman in her 60s living in Södra Sandby.

In your role as a personal assistant, you will help our member with everything in daily life where her disability sets limits, from the start of the morning routine until the evening routine before bedtime. Assistive devices are available for transfers and similar tasks. At certain times during the day, double assistance is required.

Our member has a significant need for help with communication, which is why excellent proficiency in Swedish is a requirement. Since there are limited assistive devices specifically for communication, you must have the patience to wait for and interpret what the user needs help with. Computer skills are also required as the member needs considerable assistance with the computer. It is important to have an understanding and respect for the fact that you are working in someone else's home. As there are fur-bearing animals in the home, you must not be allergic or have difficulties assisting with the care of the pets. You need a driver's license and a car, or another way to get to the workplace, as bus connections to the workplace are less reliable late in the evening and early in the morning. Shifts are scheduled between 08:00–16:30 and 15:30–24:00, seven days a week.

Previous experience as a personal assistant is an advantage, and due to the nature of the work, we prefer female applicants. Being able to start immediately is a big plus!
