Within the Aeronatics business area, the role of Software Developer involves understanding both the details of individual software components and the overall system and its place in the aircraft, in order to implement efficient and reliable solutions in the best possible way. The section is responsible for software that realizes HMI and recording in the Gripen C/D cockpit.

The work includes, among other things:

• Requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, verification, and documentation of new and changed functions.
• Optimization and further development
• Integration and functional testing on the target platform in labs, simulators, and test rigs

In this role, you work closely with team and project members, as well as external suppliers, to achieve the best possible end result.

Your profile

We are looking for you who want to combine technical depth with societal benefit. You are analytical, curious, and thrive on solving complex problems in close collaboration with others. We also believe you have:

• Good experience with hardware-oriented embedded development using C/C++, Pascal, or ADA
• A Master of Science degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics, Media, or education in Game Development
• A flexible working style to adapt your work to different situations
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
