EcoDataCenter builds and operates next-generation sustainable data centers, a critical societal infrastructure that enables digital development while minimizing the carbon footprint. Behind every new facility, investment, and customer deal lies extensive financial work where structure, control, and follow-up are crucial for the business to grow sustainably.

We are now looking for an accountant who wants to take an active role in the continued development of the finance function. This is not a traditional accounting role in a mature organization where processes are already set. You will join a company with a high growth rate, ongoing construction projects, and several parallel operations where the finance function needs to continue developing in tandem with the business. For the right person, this means an opportunity to combine classic accounting work with the development of processes, systems, and working methods in a rapidly changing business.

Main Responsibilities

The role is characterized by a changing environment where you need to have good ability to prioritize and handle both ongoing and ad hoc-related tasks. You will further handle tasks such as:

• Responsibility for parts of the ongoing accounting
• Participation in project accounting and financial follow-up
• Handling and support in accounts payable
• Bank reconciliations and analysis of financial results
• Preparation of VAT and tax returns, and contact with the Tax Agency as needed
• Participation in monthly and annual financial statements
• Contribute to the development and efficiency of accounting routines and processes
• Act as a financial support to various parts of the business
• Contribute to the development of financial processes and system support

Qualifications

• Relevant university education in economics/accounting or equivalent competence
• At least three years of experience from a similar role in accounting
• Good knowledge of ongoing accounting and the different parts of accounting work
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

It is meritorious if you have experience from the construction, real estate, or contracting industry, as well as knowledge in project accounting and understanding of construction processes. We also view experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Rillion, and Capego Bokslut/Skatt positively.

If you have previously worked in a rapidly growing business, with multiple companies or within a group structure, we see this as an advantage. Furthermore, an interest in digitalization, automation, and AI within the finance area is meritorious. If you also have experience working in a rapidly growing and technology-intensive business, as well as group structures or work with multiple companies or units, it is an advantage.

About You

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and analytical with good collaboration skills. You thrive in a changing environment and are motivated by contributing to the business's development. Furthermore, you have a strong interest in systems and a desire to streamline processes and working methods, as well as develop system support within the finance area. We would like you to have an interest in digitalization, automation, and AI as part of the work to develop and streamline the finance function.

Employment Type

During the first 6 months, you are employed as a consultant through Vindex, after which you will move into a permanent position at EcoDataCenter, provided there is good cooperation. The role can be based in either Falun or Stockholm.
