At Preschool Lammet, our Christian values provide a secure foundation. All children are equally valuable and loved for who they are. We have two departments, Ekorren (Squirrel) for ages 1-5 and Haren (Hare) for ages 1-5. We have space for 28 children and consist of 6 educators working together.

The Workplace

Backa Pastorate operates four preschools located in Tuve, Hisings Backa, Säve, and Hisings Kärra. The preschools have a total of six departments that collaborate with each other, sharing a common principal and operational plan. The preschools are guided by a Christian profile, meaning we work towards a common goal of imparting knowledge and understanding of church traditions and holidays to the children. The focus is on ensuring the children experience a safe and positive preschool environment characterized by the belief that all people are equally valuable. Children are seen as competent individuals where differences are an asset. The value base is an important part of all work at the preschool, with the goal that everyone is treated with respect and care.

Preschool Lammet is located in the same building as the Backa Parish Centre and features a pleasant outdoor yard and nice indoor environments designed according to the children's interests and needs. You can easily reach the workplace by bus 18 & 19, approximately 10 minutes from Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen.

Qualifications

You are a qualified preschool teacher with the prescribed education and have experience working in a smaller preschool. You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are a creative, active, present, and research-engaged educator who has the will, desire, and ability to listen to, inspire, and challenge the children. You also have the ability and courage to take personal responsibility and to see opportunities. You have good collaboration skills and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues in the work as a whole, always keeping the best interests of the children in focus.

Together with the other educators in the work team, you will plan and carry out the work at the preschool. You need to have a reflective approach, see opportunities, be positive, and open to trying new things. You are structured, full of ideas, and well-versed in Lpfö-18 rev 25. In reference to the laws regulating register checks, anyone offered this position must present an extract from the criminal record register before an employment contract can be drawn up. For this position, you need to be a member of the Church of Sweden.

Employment

Full-time, fixed-term employment (K-AVA).

Start date: 2026-08-03 – 2027-02-01

Agreed fixed-term employment

• The fixed-term employment may be at most 36 months, or if several such employments are made, a total of 36 months within a five-year period.
• The employment may be entered into without special cause.
• Agreed fixed-term employment may be terminated without cause during the first six months if this has been agreed upon.
• The employment may be, or can be, from one day to a maximum of 36 months without being converted to a permanent employment.

Interview

Interviews take place on a rolling basis.

We invite you to a first interview via Teams for 30 minutes, with a questionnaire that we send out beforehand.

If you proceed after the Teams interview, we invite you to a further interview on-site, approx. 45 minutes, with an in-depth questionnaire based on the Teams interview.
