Temporary Lifeguard/Receptionist at Malung-Sälen Swimming Hall

Malung-Sälen Swimming Hall opened in autumn 2024 and is a modern and welcoming facility featuring a 25-meter pool, a children's play area, a multi-purpose pool, and a relaxation area where you can enjoy bubble pools, an aufguss sauna, and pleasant social spaces. Additionally, we have a café serving simple meals and coffee/tea.

Our primary focus is ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors, which is why we place great emphasis on customer service and cleanliness.

Naturally, we also offer a wide range of water activities, with our most important being our swimming school for children. We also offer baby swimming, mini swimming, adult swimming lessons, water aerobics, water yoga, and much more.

Job Responsibilities

At Malung-Sälen Swimming Hall, we are currently a team of six full-time employees, and we are now looking for a substitute for one of these positions.

Are you a service-oriented person who enjoys meeting people and wants a varied job? Then this might be the job for you.

You are someone who takes great responsibility, is friendly, and flexible. Working with us means you will meet people of different ages and with different needs. As a lifeguard/receptionist at the swimming hall, you will provide support and service to the visitors in the facility. The tasks are varied. You will be part of the work group that manages the daily operations and develops the swimming hall's activities.

Your duties include, among other things, working with cleaning, reception, lifeguarding, café work, and in our relaxation area. Opportunities to work with swimming lessons, baby swimming, and as a water fitness instructor exist if you have the relevant training.

Qualifications

• The job suits you if you are driven, service-oriented, and responsible. You have good collaboration skills and are a team player who enjoys working with people and health promotion. You are service-oriented and treat everyone with respect.
• Training in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is desirable but not a requirement. Remaining training will be provided on-site.
• Previous experience in similar work is advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You must be at least 18 years old and proficient in Swedish; additional languages are an advantage.
• You must be able to swim and pass the swimming test.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Working hours: Shift schedule.
