As a Team Leader at Avarn Security, you play a central role in leading, developing, and ensuring the quality of daily security operations. You act as a link between operational staff and management, responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery to the customer.

Working Hours: Varying

Work Location: Garpenberg

Duration: Full-time, part-time, or as-needed employment. A 6-month probationary period applies.

Salary: According to collective agreement

The customer places great trust in us, and your work as a team leader is important. You contribute every shift to creating safety and security for the customer and society at large, as your work creates preventive protection against crime, improved fire safety, and much more. You will meet all members of society, and it is important that you are clear, calm, and able to make well-thought-out decisions.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you must meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:

  • Be at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
  • High school diploma
  • Good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
  • Category B driver's license

You must also be free of criminal record, drug-free, have a sound financial situation, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed by Avarn Security.

Guard training is meritorious for these positions. Other meritorious qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and proceed in the process but do not already hold the prescribed training (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA (Security Industry Occupational and Environmental Committee). Participation is a prerequisite for employment.

* To be employed within Avarn Security AB, you must be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company, in accordance with the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies. Application to the County Administrative Board is handled by Avarn Security. Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements of the respective legislation, a background check is conducted.
