About the role: We are looking for a day-shift mechanic for the maintenance department. The work is performed in the Bleaching, Cooking, and Black Liquor Preparation departments. The main tasks consist of repair work on machinery such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and other process equipment. The position reports directly to the department supervisors. Scheduled weekend on-call duty is included in the role.

What are we looking for?
You should have mechanical training at least at the upper secondary level or equivalent experience. Experience from the process industry is advantageous, as is experience with laser alignment, bearing replacement, and/or repair welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

To succeed in the role, you are skilled, meticulous, and enjoy problem-solving. You work independently but appreciate collaboration and have good interpersonal skills. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is responsible and driven to develop both professionally and personally.
