About the role: We are looking for a day-shift mechanic to join our maintenance department. The work is carried out in the steam central and lignin departments. The main tasks involve repairing machinery equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, fans, valves, and other process equipment. The position reports directly to the department supervisors. Scheduled weekend on-call duty is included in the role.

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate should have mechanical training at least at the upper secondary level or equivalent experience. Experience in the process industry is advantageous, as is experience with laser alignment, bearing replacement, and/or repair welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

To succeed in the role, you are skilled, meticulous, and enjoy problem-solving. You work independently but appreciate teamwork and have good interpersonal skills. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is responsible and driven to develop both professionally and personally.
