At our facility in Örnsköldsvik, part of Functional Chemicals AB, Performance Formulations, we produce additives for paints and building materials. Our main product is Bermocoll, which functions as a thickener in water-based paint or as a water-binding agent in use. As a Process Operator, you will collaborate with other process operators, production engineers, maintenance technicians, and production management. You will perform equipment inspections according to our internal safety routines. The role also involves data documentation, availability monitoring, as well as logging operational disruptions and other important information.

In your future role as an operator, you will:

• Monitor, control, and optimize the process.
• Participate in root cause analyses.
• Maintain production according to the production plan.
• Conduct equipment rounds, write notifications, and initiate maintenance measures.
• Participate in developing and documenting standardized working methods.
• Contribute to improvement work by conducting rounds and risk analyses.
• Refill auxiliary chemicals.
• Operate forklifts.

We believe you have:

• A completed upper secondary education in technology, natural sciences, or process industry.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• A valid B-driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Work experience from the process industry or a similar industrial sector.
• Post-secondary education within the process industry.
• Forklift certification.

We believe you are responsible, structured, and meticulous, as the operations are complex with high safety requirements. As a person, you are receptive and eager to constantly learn new things. Since you will work both independently and in teams, teamwork is important, as is taking initiative for "Best practice".

This is a permanent full-time position based in Örnsköldsvik. You will report to the Shift Supervisor, Katarina Lindmark. The working hours are primarily daytime, but shift work may also occur, and you should be able to replace the regular 6-shift operator.
