Regional Psychiatry and Habilitation coordinates the regional healthcare for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as habilitation in Region Västernorrland. The regional healthcare services are operated at three hospitals, Sundsvall, Sollefteå and Örnsköldsvik, and at several clinics located in various locations in the county. The area has approximately 700 employees. We are now looking for a psychologist/PTP-psychologist for the addiction team at Ward 7 in Sundsvall.

The team plans care before, during, and after inpatient care and forms an important link in the care chain for the individual. The Addiction Team provides guidance and support to the county's municipalities, primary care, and other healthcare partners, and conducts clinical interventions of an outpatient nature. The team, currently consisting of two coordinators, a nurse, a social worker, and a doctor, will be strengthened with more staff to, among other things, provide treatment interventions for direct work with patients with harmful use and addiction and concurrent psychiatric issues. This is part of the transition work that aligns with the comorbidity reform.
