About the Department

The county-wide Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine department employs approximately 165 people. The department consists of inpatient care, outpatient clinics, day care, play therapy, and SSIH Children. On our wards, we treat all children and adolescents under the age of 18 who require inpatient care. Our clinics receive children and adolescents up to 18 years old with medical conditions. We perform approximately 18,000 doctor visits, 7,500 nurse visits, and 3,500 dietitian visits per year at the county level. The medical staff group at the Children's Clinic in Sundsvall consists of 25 doctors.

We are now looking for a Specialist Training Doctor (ST-läkare) for Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Sundsvall. The position involves some outpatient work at other locations. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-07-13 or as agreed.

Responsibilities

Here you will have a varied job where the patients are children of different ages with varying diagnoses. Here you work together with many competent colleagues who are happy to share and contribute valuable knowledge for your continued medical career. The work as a Specialist Training Doctor involves taking care of patients of all categories within paediatrics and adolescent medicine, both individually and together with other staff. The work includes on-call duties, including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed physician
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Have a B driving license

It is meritorious if you

• Have worked as a licensed physician at BUM in Sundsvall
• Have previous experience working in paediatrics
• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Have additional language skills
