About the Operations

The adult psychiatric operations in Örnsköldsvik consist of two outpatient clinics, a specialist psychiatric nursing team, and emergency services. The outpatient clinics have a general psychiatric focus and are aimed at individuals over 18 years of age who require psychiatric care at a specialist level. Clinic B's main task is to investigate and treat patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities and psychiatric comorbidity.

The clinic is centrally located in Örnsköldsvik, and a total of about 20 therapists from various professions work here. We see patients with a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions. We place great emphasis on good treatment, assessment/diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment. We are HBTQI certified.

The content of the position can be adapted based on the appointee's specific competence or areas of interest according to the operations' needs. As a nurse with us, you play an important role both as a clinic nurse and as a nurse linked to our pharmacological treatments. To succeed in the role, it is important to be able to handle changes in pace effectively, take personal responsibility, and have good collaboration skills.

We are looking for a nurse for Psychiatric Clinic B. The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start.

Job Responsibilities

Being a clinic nurse with us involves, among other things:

• Processing incoming cases via telephone (TeleQ) and 1177.se
• Collaborating with colleagues of different professions and care partners
• Handling functional mailboxes and LifeCare

Working as a nurse with treatment at our facility involves, among other things:

• Follow-up of central stimulant treatment, as well as follow-up of other pharmacological treatments
• An important role in starting new medications, especially when initiating ADHD medication
• Relieving those who work with medication distribution and injection treatment when needed

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Are a licensed psychiatric nurse
• Have previous experience working as a nurse in specialist psychiatry
• Have previous experience working as a clinic nurse in specialist psychiatry
