RESPONSIBILITIES
Sollefteå Municipality is looking for a Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR) who wants to help develop a secure, quality-assured, and patient-safe rehabilitation service for our residents.
As MAR, you belong to the overarching management of social services and are also part of the health and medical care management group together with the municipality's MAS (Medical Responsible for Nursing). You have a clear strategic medical leadership responsibility with mandate and are responsible for ensuring that rehabilitation efforts and assistive device management are conducted in accordance with legislation, national guidelines, and the National Board of Health and Welfare's recommendations for MAR. The position is a combined role with development tasks and responsibility for assistive devices in combination with the MAR duties.
You will become a key person in the municipality's quality and development work and work closely with managers, licensed professionals, and external partners.
Your main responsibilities
- Ensure, in accordance with the Health and Medical Care Ordinance and the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations on the use of medical technology products, that rehabilitation within functional support, social psychiatry, and elderly care is appropriate, safe, and maintains high quality.
- Initiate and drive development and improvement work to strengthen and further develop the municipality's rehabilitation.
- Develop guidelines and routines related to rehabilitation, medical record keeping, assistive devices, and medical technology products in collaboration with operations and MAS, and ensure that routines and working methods follow current legislation and regulations.
- Be responsible for the municipality's assistive device management, including quality, safety, follow-up, and collaboration with the region's assistive device activities.
- Conduct quality reviews, self-controls, and follow up on deviations, lead investigations, and initiate improvement measures.
- Provide professional support to managers and employees in matters concerning rehabilitation, assistive devices, and patient safety.
- Drive development work and contribute to long-term competence supply within the rehabilitation field.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist.
- Several years of experience in rehabilitation, preferably within municipal health and medical care.
- Good knowledge of legislation and regulations within health and medical care.
- Experience in quality work, patient safety, and development work.
- Merit given for experience in assistive device management or similar areas of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and strategically, but also in close collaboration with others.
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating in complex organizations.
- You master the Swedish language and have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
