About the Assignment

A 10-year-old boy needs a respite caregiver. He enjoys active games and play. He needs support with showering, dressing and undressing, toilet visits, and mealtimes. We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with children. As a respite caregiver, you need to have experience with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses, be quick on your feet, and be active. You also need to have a lot of patience and think several steps ahead, as the client does not have a consistent way of thinking.

About the Position

6 hours/month. 3-hour shifts every other weekend. Start date as soon as possible.

As a respite caregiver, you relieve relatives, for example, parents of a child with a disability, at home or in the local area. This allows the parents to have some personal time with other siblings.

According to the Act on Register Control and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment. You order the register extract yourself from the police according to the LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
