Job Responsibilities

We are looking for part-time telephone interviewers for SCB in Örebro. The tasks consist of conducting telephone interviews with individuals selected for the Labour Force Survey. This is a survey that measures employment and shows the state of the labor market in Sweden.

You will work on-site at SCB's premises, and the work is primarily scheduled in the evenings, from 5 PM to 9 PM, although other times may occur. The most common schedule is Monday to Thursday, but weekend work may also be relevant.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, result-oriented, and interested in society. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and would like to see that you enjoy meeting other people. You are social, positive, and accommodating, and can adapt to different personalities and situations. We expect you to have a good ability to follow the instructions given. Since some questions may be experienced as sensitive to answer, you are good at conveying a sense of security and creating trust.

To be considered for the position, the following is required:

• High school diploma as the minimum level of education.
• At least one year of documented work experience.
• Good computer skills.
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Good communication skills.
• Availability for at least 3 weekday shifts per week.
• Attendance during the introductory training on-site at SCB's premises in Örebro. The training, which spans weeks 38, 39, and 40 (not full-time), is mandatory in its entirety and a requirement to start working.

Meritorious

• Previous experience in interviewing.
• Previous experience in interpersonal professions such as healthcare and education or service and retail, to name just a few examples.
• Higher availability will be considered in the recruitment process.
