Jem & Fix is currently looking for an ambitious Deputy Store Manager for our upcoming opening in Lindesberg!

Your responsibilities:

As Deputy Store Manager at Jem & Fix, you are responsible for the store's operations when the Store Manager is not on site. This means you create the conditions for yourself and your employees to deliver the best possible sales results.

As the Store Manager's right hand, you ensure that routines regarding cash handling, deliveries, and the working environment are followed, and you constantly strive to be a role model for your colleagues.

You work operationally with daily store management, which includes tasks such as ordering and receiving goods, unpacking deliveries, as well as leading and actively participating in sales and warehouse work.

Since the store is open every day of the week, work involves day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend work.

You are proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to clearly communicate expectations and information to your employees. You are well-organized and solution-focused, even under high workload, and have the ability to prioritize and plan for the best workflow. You see continuous evaluation of your own and your colleagues' efforts as a matter of course. Do you have ambitions to take on the role of Store Manager in the future? If you are also a dedicated and handy DIY enthusiast, that is a big plus.

Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service and/or sales, minimum 3 years.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Driver's license: Category B or AM.

Employment terms

Salary according to the Retail Collective Agreement.

Employment type: The position is a permanent full-time employment. A 6-month probation period applies.

Salary: Fixed monthly, weekly, or hourly wage.

Start date: The store is expected to open in April/May 2026.
