What are you stepping into? Emhart Glass is a global company that is world-leading in the manufacturing of glass molding machines, including those that produce glass bottles and jars sold worldwide. In Örebro, we drive development in a high-tech environment where technology, production, and people meet.

Your role: As an Operational Buyer with us, you are a vital part of securing the material supply for the production of new machines and spare parts. You work closely with both internal functions and external suppliers and are responsible for the entire purchase order process – from A to Z.

You will become part of an experienced and helpful purchasing team with colleagues spread across Örebro, Sundsvall, the USA, and Malaysia.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working operationally with purchase orders from start to finish
• Continuous contact with suppliers – both local and international
• Handling material shortages
• Monitoring and expediting orders
• Handling claims
• Participating in improvement work and contributing to efficient working methods
• Other administrative tasks

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a post-secondary education from a university or college with a focus on logistics, purchasing, or economics
• Is experienced in using MS Office programs, especially Excel
• Is system savvy, preferably in ERP systems (IFS is a plus)
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Previous experience in purchasing is an advantage
