About the position

Omtanken Frölunda Torg is our largest health center with approximately 8,000 registered patients. The practice is centrally located at Frölunda Torg with good transport connections and offers a broad range of primary care services with experienced staff from several professions.

As a Specialist in General Medicine with us, you will work with both scheduled and emergency patient visits in close collaboration with colleagues from different professional groups. We focus heavily on accessibility, continuity, and teamwork, which creates good conditions for high-quality patient care.

The position also includes supervision of students as well as AT (basic training) and ST (specialty training) doctors. We actively encourage participation in practice development and improvement work, and we value employees who wish to contribute to developing our operations.

For those interested in leadership and quality work, there is an opportunity to combine the position with a role as Medical Responsible Physician (MAL).

All physicians are covered by a collective agreement between the Swedish Medical Association (Läkarförbundet) and Swedish Healthcare Employers (Vårdföretagarna).

We are looking for you who

✔️ Are a Specialist in General Medicine with authorization to work within Swedish healthcare

✔️ Have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1

✔️ Are communicative, professional, and have a good approach to patients

✔️ Thrive working in a team while being independent in your professional role

✔️ Have an interest in quality development and operational improvement

✔️ See the whole picture in patient needs and the mission of primary care

Scope: Full-time or according to agreement

Employment type: Permanent position, with a 6-month probationary period
