Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Accountant to join a temporary position within a CFO team in an international financial environment. The assignment involves tax calculations, financial reporting, and annual financial statements within an asset management business.

In this role, you will be a central part of the finance and accounting function, working closely with both internal tax functions and external specialists. You will take overall responsibility for parts of the financial reporting related to tax and annual accounts, collaborating with both local and global stakeholders.

The assignment starts on September 1, 2026, and runs until July 31, 2027. The position is full-time and located in Solna.

About the Role

As an Accountant in the CFO team, you are responsible for the calculation, analysis, and reporting of taxes, as well as the preparation of financial reports and annual accounts. You will work closely with Group Tax and local tax specialists in various countries, contributing to ensuring accurate and quality-assured financial reporting.

You will play a key role in ensuring that tax management and accounting are correctly integrated into the group's financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
• Calculation and approval of employer contributions and preliminary tax
• Preparation and submission of annual income tax returns
• Preparation and submission of annual financial statements
• Calculation of foreign tax credits, group relief, and dividends within the group
• Ensuring correct tax accounting in financial reports and declarations in collaboration with Group Tax
• Collaboration with internal tax functions and external advisors
• Coordination and preparation of documentation for external auditors

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, finance, economics, taxation, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax, or a similar role
• Experience with closing processes and preparation of annual financial statements
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of Swedish tax legislation, including corporate tax and indirect taxes
• Experience in financial companies, preferably within asset management
• Understanding of international tax issues and transfer pricing is a plus
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English
