Your role

As a Maintenance Technician at Boliden Bergsöe, you will work broadly with maintenance at our facility. Tasks vary from emergency interventions to planned maintenance activities and manufacturing.

You will be responsible for, among other things:

• Preventive maintenance and emergency interventions to ensure operations.
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Mechanical work, welding, and hydraulic and pneumatic tasks.
• Working from drawings and technical documentation.
• Recording and following up on work in the maintenance system.

The work is highly varied – one day you might be welding outside in the plant, the next day in the workshop working with precision mechanical components.

Your team

You will become part of an experienced team of eight people within Maintenance. Close collaboration occurs within the team as well as with other functions, such as the electrical department. You will work on a K2 schedule; Monday–Friday, morning or afternoon shifts.

You have a strong safety mindset, work in a structured manner, and can prioritize in situations where tasks change rapidly. You enjoy collaborating with others and have good communication skills, while also being able to work independently when needed. We also value curiosity, drive, and a willingness to develop.

Requirements:

• High school education, preferably in a technical field.
• Experience in maintenance work and knowledge of welding and reading technical drawings.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Merits:

• Experience from the process industry.
• Experience with LEAN, 5S, and/or root cause analysis.
• Competence in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Certificates such as hot work, mobile platforms, or fall protection.
