Property Caretaker for Sätoftaskolan

Höörs Fastigheter is now looking for an engaged property caretaker who wants to contribute to a safe, pleasant, and well-functioning school environment. Höörs Fastigheter is a collaboration between Höörs Fastighets Bostads AB and Höörs Fastighets Lokal AB. Together, we own and manage properties within Höörs Municipality, including municipal business premises, housing, commercial spaces, as well as healthcare and industrial facilities. Höörs Municipality owns all shares in both Höörs Fastighets Bostads AB and Höörs Fastighets Lokal AB.

Responsibilities

As a property caretaker at Sätoftaskolan, you are responsible for the daily supervision and maintenance of the school's premises. You are an important part of the operation and work closely with staff, students, and external suppliers. The school area includes students from preschool to grade 9.

You are responsible for ensuring our systematic fire safety work (SBA) is carried out, which includes testing and inspection of our fire alarm systems.

Specific Tasks

  • Simple repairs and maintenance
  • Supervision of premises and technical equipment
  • Furnishing and preparing premises
  • Reporting faults and follow-up
  • Contact with contractors and suppliers
  • Operator of fire alarm systems

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is practical and generally handy
  • Is structured and can plan their work independently
  • Has a good sense of service and a positive attitude
  • Is responsible and solution-oriented
  • Thrives in an environment with children and young people
  • Has good collaboration skills

Merits

  • Experience in caretaking or property maintenance
  • Experience from trades, e.g., carpentry, painting, etc.
  • Certificate for Hot Work
  • Operator of fire alarm systems

Requirements

  • Category B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date by agreement.
Working hours: Daytime.

The position will be filled subject to necessary political decisions being made and provided it is not needed for internal use.
