Do you want to work with maintenance in a socially important and technically complex operation? At Öresundskraft, you will have a broad and varied role where you work with electricity, instrumentation, and preventive maintenance at our energy facilities – in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues and with a strong focus on operational safety, improvement work, and long-term development.

About the Operation Within our Production business area, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance, as well as continuous development and optimization of Öresundskraft's district heating production in Helsingborg and Ängelholm. Within the Maintenance Department, where this position is located, we are approximately 25 employees in various specialist areas working with both routine and preventive maintenance at the Filborna plant and Västhamnen plant in Helsingborg, as well as the Åkerslunds plant in Ängelholm. We are in an exciting phase of development with several major investment projects in control, automation, and plant technology, while continuing to develop and improve our working methods and preventive maintenance.

About the Role In your role as Maintenance Coordinator for Electricity & Instrumentation, you are responsible for your functional area, which means you plan, prepare, lead/distribute tasks, and conduct follow-ups together with our partners. Naturally, you will also perform a significant amount of troubleshooting and hands-on practical work. You will be based at the Åkerslunds plant in Ängelholm, but the role also involves helping and supporting colleagues at our other facilities in their maintenance work and projects. The role is broad and includes everything from acute problem-solving and/or planned service work, inspections, to preventive maintenance tasks and improvements regarding electricity and instrumentation – always in close collaboration with your knowledgeable colleagues.

You collaborate daily with the maintenance team at the Åkerslunds plant within mechanics and electricity/instrumentation, as well as with the plant manager, operations staff, project managers, and external partners. The role involves responsibility for following up on and quality-assuring completed work, both technically and economically. Together with the team, you also ensure efficient spare parts management for the plant's daily operations and that relevant technical documentation, manuals, and instructions are kept updated and accessible.

We always strive to steer operations from corrective to preventive maintenance and thereby minimize production stoppages. Here, you become a key player. In your work, you serve as a role model regarding regulations and rules within environment, occupational health and safety, security, quality, and economics. In addition to daily operations, you will also participate in the planning of our recurring shutdowns and projects. The position is daytime hours (Monday-Friday) with a recurring on-call week (every seventh week). You report directly to the Plant Manager / Maintenance Manager for the Åkerslunds plant.

About You To be successful and thrive in this role, we believe you have a few years of experience in maintenance work (electricity & instrumentation) within power & heat production or another complex process industry, alternatively maritime maintenance. You likely have a post-secondary technical education and/or equivalent work experience as an industrial electrician. Naturally, you have good electrical knowledge under 1000 V and are accustomed to systematic troubleshooting of, for example: instruments, drives, safety circuits, valve control, frequency converters, as well as control cabinets with associated automation. We assume you have very good computer skills and previous experience with reading drawings, plant documentation, and handling work orders using a maintenance system, e.g., Idus. It is an advantage if you have basic knowledge in any CAD software and if you are familiar with automation control/PLC (Siemens S7) and/or DCS (ABB 800xA). In the role, you will need a driver's license (Category B) and we assume you master Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

To thrive and be successful in the role of Maintenance Coordinator, you need to be structured, proactive, flexible, and good at collaborating, both within the organization and with external partners. You also need to have an easy time seeing the big picture, understanding a system, so that you can find a practical solution at a detailed level. You are self-directed and thrive when no day is like the other and when new challenges and reprioritizations are the rule rather than the exception. Naturally, you are genuinely technically interested and have good problem-solving skills.

As an employee at Öresundskraft, you may be mobilized for total defense purposes based on the needs of the total defense. Since we operate socially important activities, background checks may be conducted prior to employment.

We believe in the strength of diversity and see different perspectives and experiences as an important part of our success. Here, you can be yourself and contribute your unique competence.

Benefits At Öresundskraft, we care about well-being and sustainable employees. Therefore, we offer our employees several benefits. Read more HERE (#)!
