About the Unit

The health center in Vansbro is located in the scenic Västerdalarna, with beautiful seasons where ski tracks, mountain bike trails, and open water cross each other. We have approximately 6,500 registered patients. Here, you will be part of a team consisting of a psychologist, a care coordinator for mental health, pediatric nurses, midwives, assistant nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, a rehabilitation coordinator, and general practitioners. The health center also houses an assessment unit in collaboration with emergency medical services, which assesses and treats patients on-site.

Responsibilities

This is an opportunity for you who are interested in working with people in a small team within primary care and in close collaboration with other interdisciplinary professional groups. We offer advice, support, assessment, and treatment for mild to moderate mental health issues in areas such as depression, anxiety, stress, pain, sleep disorders, and crisis reactions in adults. As an employee at the health center, you will conduct assessments of mental health and work with psychological treatments that, after assessment and agreement, can be conducted individually, in groups, or via internet-based treatment programs. The work is stimulating with great opportunities for variation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and development.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• You must have an academic basic education such as a social worker, nurse, or similar, as well as CBT Step 1.
• Have an interest in the primary care perspective where both quality and accessibility are in focus.

Previous experience in primary care is meritorious.
