In short: we want every student to reach as far as possible. We are currently looking for a resource person for the middle school level (grades 4–6).

About You

We are looking for you who have a pedagogical education or other education that the employer deems suitable for the tasks at the middle school level at Svarträven School in Övertorneå town center. You should have strong pedagogical skills and a positive attitude towards our students. Previous experience working with children/students in schools is advantageous, as is experience supporting students in need of special assistance. If you lack this specific competence, you should be open to further training and gaining experience through your role in the school. You are flexible, open-minded, detail-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. We value your commitment, sense of responsibility, and professional competence, and expect you to actively work towards each student's development.

To work with children in school, you are required to provide a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) prior to employment. You apply for this certificate yourself through the police, and the application form can be found at www.polisen.se (https://www.polisen.se).

Responsibilities

You will work as a resource person at the middle school level. Based on the school's needs, you will work with individual students and/or student groups who require support during the school day. The role also includes being on duty during breaks and accompanying students during transitions within and outside the school.

Scope

The position is for the academic year 2026/27 (2026-08-17 to 2027-06-11). You can work full-time or part-time (80%).
