The Role

We are currently seeking an assistant for one of our clients in Vårgårda, working 24-hour shifts with overnight on-call duties. You will be based at the client's home, assisting with daily tasks and social activities.

We are looking for someone to work as a personal assistant for a young woman with a physical disability living in her own apartment in central Vårgårda. Duties include support with personal care and assistance with other activities. You will accompany the client in her daily life, with a significant portion of the work taking place in the home. The client owns a dog, so you must not be allergic.

The position initially starts as a temporary hourly contract. You will first undergo an introduction to get to know the client and learn her support needs, before working independently on your own schedule during the summer. There is a good opportunity for extension if desired.

Qualifications

At the client's request, we are looking for a female candidate, aged 20 or older, with a sense of humor and social maturity. It is important that you have a respectful attitude and a desire to work with people on their terms. You should be interested in animals and have the ability to work in a motivating way to achieve goals and find opportunities in daily work.

In your role, you are a role model. It is important that you are insightful, have good values, and the ability to be an inspiration. The work can be physically demanding, and you need to be able to make independent decisions quickly in various daily situations. Having a driver's license and access to a car is an advantage. Experience working as a personal assistant is a plus.
