The Role

As a Junior Key Account Manager at our office in Växjö, you will have a unique opportunity to learn the KAM role from the ground up – with close support from an experienced KAM colleague with 20 years of experience in sales and KAM work. You will get a secure start with a mentor who knows exactly what it takes to succeed in the role.

You will work closely with our sales team and marketing department, and be responsible for supporting and building relationships with our customers in grocery retail, specialty stores, and online.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing and nurturing relationships with existing customers at unit and central levels.
  • Supporting customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Gradually taking independent responsibility for customers and business, with support from experienced colleagues.
  • Tracking sales data and analyzing results against targets.
  • Contributing to broadening and developing business at the customer site.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and collaborations.
  • Monitoring trends and competitors in the food market.

You will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with other functions within sales, marketing, and procurement.

About You

To succeed in this role, you don't need years of experience – but you must have drive, engagement, and the willingness to learn. You see the big picture, are customer-oriented, and are quick to identify opportunities. With your positive energy, you contribute to the atmosphere, both internally and externally.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has relevant post-secondary education in economics, marketing, or sales.
  • Has 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or similar (internships count).
  • Is data-driven and accustomed to working in a structured and analytical manner.
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Has a B-driver's license, as travel is a natural part of the role.
  • Is curious, proactive, and trustworthy – preferably with a great passion for ice cream and health!
