Focused Global Category Manager for an international design group with some of Scandinavia's most well-known brands in furniture and interior design.

We are now looking for you who want to help develop and strengthen the strategic purchasing and sourcing work within the Office Interiors business area.

About the role

As a Global Category Manager, you play a central role in developing and implementing category and sourcing strategies within the Office Interiors business area. The role combines strategic work with close collaboration with both internal functions and international suppliers. You are responsible for turning category and sourcing strategies into concrete initiatives that strengthen the business and create long-term value. The role also involves developing supplier relationships, leading negotiations, and identifying opportunities that contribute to increased competitiveness, quality, and delivery capability.

An important part of the assignment is to build sustainable and value-creating collaborations over time, as well as to initiate and carry out improvement work together with suppliers and internal functions. You work closely with local purchasing teams, product development, supply chain, and other key functions within the business, while leading sourcing and purchasing projects. You also collaborate with international suppliers and partners. About you

We are looking for you who have experience in strategic purchasing within the manufacturing industry. You have worked with sourcing, supplier development, and commercial negotiations in an international environment. You have experience of both own production and collaboration with external manufacturing partners. You have experience of developing working methods, processes, and long-term supplier collaborations. Experience in driving projects and working closely with product development is also valuable. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are business-driven, analytical, and have a structured approach to work. You build trusting relationships and thrive in collaborations across functions, cultures, and geographies. At the same time, you have the ability to drive initiatives forward and create results in a dynamic and business-driven environment.

It is an advantage if you have experience in category work and purchasing within, for example, metal, wood, or electronics from the furniture industry or related sectors. Experience in international sourcing as well as purchasing of finished products and external manufacturing solutions is also seen as an advantage.

Good to know

You report to the Head of Strategic Sourcing within Lammhults Design Group and belong to the sourcing function within the Office Interiors business area.

You are based at the office of the subsidiary Abstracta in Lammhult, with the possibility to work remotely up to two days a week.
