We are now looking for a Purchasing Coordinator for the Finance Department within the Municipal Executive Office. The department consists of thirteen employees working with budgeting, steering, accounting, customer and supplier ledgers, as well as purchasing and procurement issues. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will become an important part of the municipality's central work within purchasing and procurement, working closely with operations, procurers, and other colleagues in the Finance Department. We offer a varied and developmental job with many contact points, where you have the opportunity to combine administration, system responsibility, support to operations, and improvement work.

Job Description

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting, coordinating, and following up on the municipality's ongoing work within purchasing. You work with administration in the area, provide support to operations in purchasing matters, and contribute to developing efficient working methods and good contract compliance.

You have special responsibility for the municipality's purchasing system and work with system administration, user support, training, and development. The assignment also includes responsibility for coordinated product distribution, where you handle ongoing questions and act as support to operations.

The role also involves being an administrative support in the procurement work and, if necessary, participating in financial administrative tasks. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the municipality's operations, procurers, and other employees in the department.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant education and/or experience within purchasing or finance. You have a good understanding of processes within purchasing and finance, a structured approach to work, and good analytical skills.

You are accustomed to working in IT systems and have an interest in both administration and the development of digital working methods. Since the role involves many contact points, you need to be able to work independently, collaborate well with others, and provide professional support to operations. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have good judgment in your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
