Midwife Consultant Needed for Longer Autumn Assignment

Are you a midwife looking for a longer assignment where you can work broadly within maternity care, neonatal care (BB), and gynecological inpatient care?

We are now seeking experienced midwives for an assignment during the autumn of 2026.

About the Assignment

You will work within a facility that includes:

• Maternity care
• Neonatal care (BB)
• Gynecological inpatient care

The role involves standard midwifery duties within both emergency and planned care, with a focus on patient safety, secure care, and close teamwork.

The facility operates on a three-shift system, and induction shifts are planned for new consultants before regular shifts begin.

Work Environment

You will work alongside midwives, nurses, doctors, and other professionals in a facility with varying patient flows and a high medical focus.

Working hours include days, evenings, nights, and weekends according to the schedule.

Period & Scope

• Period: Week 37–48
• Scope: Approximately 908 hours
• Three-shift system including weekend duties

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed midwife
• Has at least 2 years of experience in maternity care
• Has experience from neonatal care (BB) and gynecological inpatient care
• Is confident in independent work and emergency situations
• Has good collaboration skills and a professional approach

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience with Cosmic
• Experience with Obstetrix

Mandatory Requirements

You must have completed the following training during the last year:

• Passed CTG training
• Passed pelvic floor training
• Adult CPR
• Pediatric CPR

Requirements for Presentation

The following documents must be available for presentation:

• Updated CV
• Midwife specialist certificate
• Two current references from the most recent assignment or employment
