We are now looking for an economist for an upcoming consulting assignment, who wants to work in a dynamic and developmental academic environment where quality, development, and diversity are at the center.

Responsibilities

As an economist, you play a central role in the operations and serve as support to managers and project leaders in economic matters. You work independently with qualified economic tasks and contribute to ensuring good economic control and follow-up.

The role includes among other things:

• providing advice and support on economic issues to managers and project leaders
• ensuring correct accounting in accordance with internal and external regulations
• working with budgeting, follow-up, forecasts, and analyses for projects and operations
• responsible for economic project reporting to external funders
• participating in budgeting, closing, and follow-up work
• interpreting and applying economic conditions from funders and other contracting parties
• contributing to the development and quality assurance of economic processes and routines.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• an academic degree in economics, a vocational higher education degree in economics, or equivalent
• experience in qualified economic work with accounting, budgeting, and closing
• experience working in economic and administrative support systems
• excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

• documented experience in responsibility for entire economic processes
• experience with project reporting
• experience in qualified economic work within higher education or universities
• experience with EU accounting
• experience working in the systems Raindance and Hypergene.

Personal qualities

To succeed in the role, you are responsible, meticulous, and have a strong focus on quality. You work in a structured manner, have good analytical skills, and are good at prioritizing and handling several tasks in parallel. You enjoy providing support and service to the operations and have good teamwork skills as well as good pedagogical and communicative abilities. You can translate complex economic information into clear and useful materials for different target groups and work both independently and in collaboration with others.

The assignment is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by us at OnePartnerGroup during the period 2026-08-17 to 2027-07-02 with the possibility of extension.
