About the role

Do you want to be a key person in ensuring that our operations have the right competence in the right place every day? That the information our kitchens need for daily operations is available in our meal planning system? That you conduct workshops and other training in personnel reporting systems, TC pool, and the meal planning system Matilda for employees in kitchens, cleaning services, and care homes when needed? We are now looking for an engaged Head Chef without managerial responsibility to join our team at Stab Måltid within the Service Department.

As a Head Chef without managerial responsibility, you will have a varied and meaningful assignment. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for the entire recruitment process for hourly and summer temporary staff within meals and cleaning services. Your main responsibility is to handle the entire recruitment process for hourly and summer temporary staff within meals and cleaning services, together with colleagues. Together you also appoint temporary shifts, provide support in recruiting permanent staff when needed, and act as a vital link between our temporary staff and the operations. Therefore, it is important that you have a good understanding of the professional roles within our kitchens and cleaning service teams. The assignment also includes working in the meal planning system Matilda.

You will also:

• Coordinate internships between chef training programs and our kitchens
• Represent us at labor market fairs
• Work with scheduling and staffing planning in Time Care Planering and Time Care Pool
• Administer menus, customers, and offerings in the meal system Matilda

The Service Department delivers services within facility management, cleaning services, staffing, reception, mail, vehicles, and waste management. We are also responsible for 18 kitchens and 19 restaurants, preparing over 10,000 lunches daily. With approximately 600 employees, we work to create good environments and meals that contribute to a good life for the people of Gothenburg.

About you

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Head Chef in public kitchens
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Very good computer skills and confidence in working with the Office package
• Experience in staffing planning
• Understanding of professional roles and tasks within the operation
• Experience with the meal data system Matilda or another equivalent system
