After a long journey for our guests, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face and a smile welcoming you. This is what we do at the reception of Scandic Laholmen every day. The reception is also the hub of the hotel, so you will find yourself at the center of the action. We don't always know what challenges we will face during the day, but what we do know is that all departments will come together to solve them. We are a team, and you are an important part of it.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Check guests in and out using our Opera Cloud system.
• Coordinate all departments to meet our guests' requests.
• Answer questions from our guests.
• Contribute to upselling.
• Participate in and actively work towards departmental goals.
• Receive bookings via phone and email, and handle invoicing.
• Work with cash handling.

You should love meeting guests and have the ability to quickly build good relationships. You take initiative, are flexible in the face of change, and have a good ability to find solutions. You can handle stressful situations while prioritizing the right things. Being able to work well in a team and be a considerate colleague is something we consider a given.

Experiences you bring and share with us

• You are a qualified receptionist or have experience from similar jobs within the service industry.
• Very good skills in Swedish and English. Knowledge of Norwegian is a plus.
• Good computer skills.

This is a seasonal position where working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts as well as weekends. The position is 80% with immediate start.

Salary according to collective agreement.
