After a long journey, our guests appreciate few things more than a friendly face and a welcoming smile. This is exactly what you will find at the reception of Scandic Laholmen every day. The reception is also the hub of the hotel, placing you right in the center of the action. We may not always know what challenges the day will bring, but we do know that all departments will come together to solve them as a team. You will be a key part of this team. We are now looking for you who are flexible and can work days, evenings, weekends, and nights as needed. Start date according to agreement.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Checking guests in and out using our Opera Cloud system.
• Coordinating with all departments to meet our guests' needs.
• Answering guest inquiries.
• Contributing to upselling opportunities.
• Working actively towards departmental goals.
• Handling bookings via phone and email, as well as invoicing.
• Managing cash handling procedures.
• Providing support to the conference department when needed.

You should love interacting with guests and have the ability to build strong relationships quickly. You take initiative, are adaptable to change, and have a strong problem-solving mindset. You can handle stressful situations while prioritizing effectively. Working well in a team and being a considerate colleague is a given for us.

Start date: ASAP.

Experience you bring and share with us:

• You are a qualified receptionist or have experience from similar roles within the service industry.
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English. Knowledge of Norwegian is a plus.
• Good computer skills.
