We are now looking for a Head Chef for the Meal Services Department. The position is located in the kitchen at Kinnarps Preschool and School.

As a Head Chef, you are part of a larger team. You have overall responsibility for the kitchen regarding cooking, planning, and structuring the workday, and you participate actively in the daily work. You are responsible for the operation's orders, self-control, and contribute your expertise to menu planning. In close collaboration with the unit manager, you work actively to drive development forward regarding cooking, baking, and sustainable meals. Naturally, starting from the municipality's meal policy and other guidelines and recommendations relevant to the operation. You strive for a good working environment within the operation, as well as good cooperation and pleasant treatment of the customer.

What are we looking for in you?

We are looking for you who are trained as a chef and have solid experience in the profession, with a focus on restaurants and public meals. You are confident in your professional role, service-oriented, and enjoy working in a group with others. As a leader, you have a good palate, are proactive, creative, and have the ability to lead a group towards new challenges. You are passionate about cooking and want to constantly develop. As a Head Chef, you should be stress-resistant, adaptable to change, and have the ability to create good relationships with both colleagues and customers. Previous experience in purchasing, menu planning, leadership, and planning of daily operations is required. We would like you to have knowledge of food data systems. Requirements for good Swedish in speech and writing.
