Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We pay out approximately 260 billion SEK annually. These are everyone's tax money we are responsible for. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify, improve, develop, and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Welcome to one of Sweden's largest IT departments.
The Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Tax Agency, and the Swedish Transport Administration have received a new mandate from the government to provide coordinated and secure state IT operations for government agencies. The Swedish Social Insurance Agency has also been tasked with coordinating this work, and we are therefore seeking qualified individuals for several different roles.
We are now looking for a Senior Business Developer with qualified experience in security protection work and collaboration, joining the Office for Agency Collaboration within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's IT department.
Business Development, Security Analysis, and Planning
As a Senior Business Developer, you will drive and support business development that contributes to realizing the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's mandate and long-term goals. You are expected to conduct qualified analyses and assessments of complex, system-wide nature, particularly within the security and IT domains. A key aspect of the role is the ability to translate analyses into implementation.
The role includes environmental scanning and analysis, business development, and driving development in collaboration with other organizations, particularly within the state sector. To succeed in this role, you must take initiative and responsibility, build relationships within and outside the agency, and understand and analyze complex issues quickly and efficiently. You should be accustomed to drafting written decision materials and translating knowledge from other areas into the issues the department is responsible for.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who:
- has a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and qualifications
- has qualified experience in security protection work and information security in operations with extensive needs to internally and in collaboration with others handle confidential information with high protection value
- has extensive experience in collaboration with other organizations and especially with authorities in the security field
- has experience working with security issues in a leading position in a large organization with high security requirements
- is well-versed in security protection legislation
- has knowledge of state governance
- acts on own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
- has good communication skills, both verbal and written
- has good knowledge of Swedish, both verbal and written

Other Information
One position, fixed-term for one year, part-time (approx. 50%), with start date by agreement. Probation period may apply. Swedish citizenship is required for this position. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted during this recruitment. Remote work opportunities exist if the work allows. Psychometric tests may be used as part of the selection process. Location by agreement.
