SJR is now looking for an independent consultant within customer accounts receivable for a leading company in its industry. The assignment is on a consultancy basis with employment at SJR, starting in mid-August or early September. The assignment initially spans ten months, with good opportunities for extension. The work is primarily located at the client's office in Haga Norra, Solna, with some possibility of remote work.

About the role

The background to the need is a change within the organization's shared service, where parts of the operations are moving and the team in Sweden needs to be strengthened. In the role, you will work both operationally and with a development focus. You are expected to quickly familiarize yourself with existing processes, document them, and contribute to developing and improving working methods. An important part of the assignment is to ensure structure, quality, and efficiency in the processes established in the local organization.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing work within customer accounts receivable
• Document and map processes
• Create and update process descriptions and work instructions
• Drive change and improvement work
• Customer invoicing
• Assessment of stopped orders linked to overdue invoices
• Year-end closing work including reconciliations and aging analysis
• Registration of incoming payments
• Handling of claim-stopped invoices
• Proactive customer contact (internal and external)
• Claim management and ongoing service to stakeholders

Suitable background

We are looking for you who have at least two to three years of experience in customer accounts receivable or as an accounting assistant and who have a good understanding of the entire receivables process. You have experience with year-end closing, reconciliations, and aging analysis, and are accustomed to documenting processes and creating clear work instructions. You have very good knowledge of Excel, including working with pivot tables and VLOOKUP, and are a proficient user of SAP S/4HANA. You are comfortable working in different system environments and have experience handling contacts with both internal and external parties. You express yourself effortlessly in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
