We are currently looking for a Senior Production Engineer for a consultancy assignment with a leading industrial company in Jönköping.

You will join the area management group for the assembly area and play a key role in developing production towards higher levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. The assignment combines strategic improvement work with operational presence in the production environment.

• Drive and monitor work within occupational health and safety
• Work with OEE and improve machine availability and performance
• Ensure quality in processes and flows
• Analyze and reduce downtime
• Initiate and implement improvement projects
• Monitor and optimize production costs
• Develop and update work instructions
• Actively work on resource efficiency and reduced waste

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience in production engineering, preferably within assembly
• Has post-secondary education, preferably in technology or engineering
• Has experience with Lean methodology (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, SMED)
• Has a good understanding of OEE and production systems
• Is analytical, proactive, and accustomed to working in a project format
• Thrives in a dynamic environment with both operational and strategic elements
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English
