As a Mechanical Designer at Husqvarna BCC, you will become a key person in the team working with product care and development of existing battery products. The role is varied and combines design with coordination.
A large part of the work involves receiving cases from the field (claims) and driving them forward. You analyze problems, identify solutions, and coordinate work between different functions.
Examples of tasks:
- Handle and coordinate incoming cases/claims related to battery products
- Drive smaller and larger investigations related to quality, function, and improvements
- Work with mechanical design within product care
- Collaborate closely with other departments and functions
- Perform minor changes yourself and participate in projects for larger cases
You will work in many parallel smaller projects where your ability to structure, prioritize, and drive the work forward becomes crucial.
About the CompanyHusqvarna is a global company with a strong focus on innovation and technology. Within BCC (Battery Competence Center), the team works with the development and product care of batteries for Husqvarna's products, often in close collaboration with other divisions and projects.
The team consists of designers, developers, and testers in an international and dynamic environment with great opportunities for development.
Your ProfileWe are looking for someone who is technically curious, driven, and thrives in a role where you take responsibility and collaborate broadly.
Requirements- University degree in Engineering or equivalent in a relevant field
- At least 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design
- Experience with Catia
- Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Master's degree or further education
- Experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems
- Experience from Husqvarna or similar operations
- Knowledge in battery technology, plastic, sheet metal, or mechatronic design
