As a Production Engineer in the anode casting shop at Rönnskär, you will become an important part of the final step in the copper line, where copper anodes are formed before further refining in an electrolysis plant or delivery to customers. This role exists to ensure stable, safe, and efficient production while we develop our ways of working for the future. You contribute technical competence, structure, and collaboration that make a real difference in a complex industrial environment. Your role

As a Production Engineer, you work close to production in the anode casting shop, a central part of the copper process where raw materials are refined into finished anodes. You have a holistic role where you coordinate efforts, monitor plant availability, and drive improvements together with colleagues in production, maintenance, and engineering.

You help create structure in work related to maintenance, prioritization, and investments. The role entails clear responsibility, but also strong support from the team and organization. You contribute both operationally and strategically, with a focus on safety, operational reliability, and long-term development.

Your team

You will become part of an engaged and experienced team consisting of production engineers, unit managers, and flow coordinators. Here, you work closely together in an open collaborative climate where knowledge sharing and development are a natural part of everyday life.

You have daily contact with the operations organization and work in close dialogue with the maintenance department as well as external partners. You also participate in the copper line's joint forum and contribute to decisions regarding prioritization, investments, and improvement work.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts related to maintenance and availability in the plant
• Conduct and follow up on failure analyses and ensure measures are taken
• Plan and prioritize maintenance work together with relevant functions
• Act as the ordering party towards the maintenance department
• Responsible for the budget related to operations and maintenance
• Lead investment projects and development initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize production and process efficiency
• Communicate and collaborate with contractors and internal stakeholders

We are looking for someone who has

• An engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience from process industry or manufacturing operations
• Knowledge in maintenance, operations, or technical coordination
• Experience in driving projects or improvement work
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious qualifications

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience from smelters, foundries, or the metal industry
• Experience with investment projects
• Knowledge in availability work or production development
