We are now looking for a Production Engineer with a focus on material development for our operations in Hökmark!

About the Company

EcoRub is a greentech company located in Hökmark, outside Lövånger, that develops and produces recycled plastic and rubber materials for the industry. We work on transforming recycled materials into new material blends used in extrusion and injection molding, as well as for 3D printing in both pellet and filament variants.

EcoRub has over 20 years of experience in recycling and material development. We have a strong focus on sustainability and circular solutions. Through our proprietary technology, we create materials that combine recycled rubber and plastic into new high-quality products.

Your Responsibilities

As a Production Engineer with us, you will become a key part of the work developing our material blends, designing production processes, and ensuring that the final product meets our customers' requirements and expectations.

The work is both practical and analytical, and suits you if you enjoy being close to operations, driving improvements, and taking responsibility all the way from idea to reality.

Examples of responsibilities include:

• Develop new materials and material blends.
• Conduct quality tests and document products and production.
• Test and control the properties of materials and products.
• Evaluate and develop new products and materials.
• Initiate and follow up on the production of new products and materials.
• Participate in and lead projects related to the plastic material and upcoming investments.
• Ensure that production delivers high quality and meets specifications.
• Participate in improvement and development work related to production and material usage.
• Purchasing and contact with new and existing suppliers during the development phase of materials and products.

We are a small team with short decision-making paths. You will have close collaboration with other employees at the factory in Hökmark, including the CEO and Production Manager.

Your Background and Personal Attributes

We believe you currently work in the plastic industry or a similar manufacturing operation. As a person, you are driven and curious about development. You are accustomed to taking responsibility and driving projects and activities from start to finish, while having a solution-oriented approach and seeing opportunities even when challenges arise.

We believe you enjoy collaborating with others and are driven by creating good relationships with your colleagues and the rest of the team.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Merits:

• Experience in plastic production.
• Education in production economics or a similar field.
• Understanding of sales.
• Full proficiency in English and Swedish.
